What if I don’t know what my design style is? That’s okay because I’ll help you figure it out. When I come over or during our online meeting (depending on which service you selected), I’ll get to know you and your room and that’s how I’ll get all of the juicy info that I need to figure out your design style and select the perfect pieces for your room (within budget). This is the time to let it all hang out, so give it to me straight. I want to know all about your likes and dislikes.
What if I don’t like something you select? In about 2 weeks from the date of your consultation, I will send you a preview of your design so that you can review and let me know if I’m heading in the right direction. This will be your only chance to let me know if you’re not feeling something about the design so that I can change it. So please don’t be shy. I want you to be truthful with me. This is your room and you will be spending time in it so please let me know if something needs changing during this time. When I select items for your room, I make sure that everything works perfectly together. With that said, A LOT of time goes into the process of selecting items for your room that’s why it’s so important that you let me know during the preview if you don’t like something since one little change can throw off the entire design and force me to start from scratch. This will cause your design to be delayed so to avoid this from happening, please be as forthcoming as possible when expressing your wants and needs and vision for your room.
Are you willing to work with pieces I already have? Absolutely! In fact, I encourage you to try to use as many items that you own as possible. If you adore it, why throw it out. I’ll try my best to work as many of your pieces into my design plan.
Will the pieces that you select for me be affordable? Hell yeah! After all I believe that everyone is entitled to have a room that they love without filing for bankruptcy. During our consultation, we’ll go over your budget so that I’m crystal clear on what home decor items you can afford.
When can I expect to receive my design plan? If you paid in full, you will receive your design plan in about 4 weeks of your consultation. If you chose a payment plan, your design plan will be provided to you once you have made your payment in full.
Can I get help with more than one room?
Of course! I even provide you with a 10% discount when you purchase a service for more than one room. If this is something that you are interested in, reach out to me over here.
Who are your ideal clients exactly?
My ideal clients realize that they can’t do this on their own and because of this, they are willing to put their trust in me and let me do what I do best, which is design. They let go and allow me to come up with a beautiful design that meets their needs, wants and vision for their space.
I’m going to share something with you that goes back to when I was working a 9-5. I don’t work well with people that are indecisive or that love to micro manage so if you can’t decide on the vision for your room or are a control freak and need to be involved in every single detail of the design process, I can tell you now in my most loving tone, we will not work well together so I like to get that out of the way before you waste your time and money clicking on that buy now button. You will be better off working with another decorator.
Now don’t get me wrong, I spend lots of time getting to know my clients during the consultation (that includes their needs, wants and vision for their room) all so that I’m crystal clear on what the end result will be for their room.
What distinguishes you as an Interior Decorator?
I believe with every being in my heart that your space says a lot about you and what you have going on at the moment. I also believe that having a space that makes you smile and feel at peace is self care.Oftentimes, we connect self care to manis and pedis or retail therapy, but forget that our environment including how it makes us feel is also self care. How? Because it contributes to the state of our well being aka our mental health. Is home decor a cure for mental health? Absolutely not, but it does help to keep it in check, at least for me, along with other things like therapy, journaling, crystal healing, meditation, prayer, yoga and other things that help to keep me balanced.
Everyone deserves to live in a room of their dreams even if their budget is small. My passion is helping those that usually don’t think that have access to design services aka minorities and the not so rich. Your room should be a reflection of you, which is why I don’t create cookie cutter designs because there’s only one you in this world. I create amazing designs (yes, I brag about myself because I pour my heart in soul into my designs) from my laptop that reflect my client’s style and personality.
A bit about me…
Now when I’m not creating magic on my laptop designing rooms, you can probably find me… hell no! Who am I kidding? You will find me stuffing my face, or chasing after one of my four kids (really the 3 little ones – my oldest, who’s 22 isn’t into playing with me anymore)or just chillin’ with my husband.
Although I’m shit scared of heights, I love all thrill seeking things. I hope to one day get over my fear by bungee jumping, skydiving and zip lining (maybe all in one day!). The closest I’ve gotten is that time I went cliff diving in DR. I would’ve done it when I went to Jamaica, but I already changed out of my bathing suit, but I’m slowly getting there.
Call me crazy, but I’m a dare devil at heart. I’m hoping to one day talk my husband into coming along with me, but he hates all things thrill seeking (to this day, he only rides the kiddy roller coaster rides with the youngest kids whenever we hit the amusement parks while me and the older kids look on from the side lines and dying of laughter! lol).
Anyway, I’m super passionate about Interior Decorating because I realized the hard way that our environment affects our well being aka mental health (learn more about me here).
What is the difference between your decorating services and a traditional onsite decorating service?
All of my services are hands on decorating services for those that are okay with being involved in the process. You will be expected to roll up your sleeves, follow detailed instructions and of course be ready to create your dream room! This is how you save money.
With an onsite Interior Decorator, they do ALL of the work for you. They do everything that I do plus put the design plan together for you so there’s no work on your part at all. They will also handle order placements, schedule the delivery of orders, and coordinate installations with subcontractors, which is all good, but means more money out of your pocket girl. If you’re okay with that, then you should stop reading now and click on over to another site.
With my services, depending on the service you purchase, I take measurements/pics of your room, source the items for you and provide you with a design plan and 3D view of your room so that you can have a peek into your future room. All you need to do is follow the instructions on my design plan including purchasing the items that I source of you through the clickable shopping list that I provide you with. It’ll be like a road map and all you have to do is follow it. Easy and more affordable for you!
With my decorating services, we work together to create your dream room, which equals a hell of a lot of savings for you!
Do you work with people outside of the NYC area?
Yes I do, but I only work with clients in the United States. My services are also virtual so there’s no need for me to step foot into your room to design it for you.
If you’re outside of NYC or northern NJ, we’ll just have to connect online through an online meeting where I will walk you through how to measure and take pics of your room.

What is your refund policy?
A lot of love and time goes into creating my designs. With all that said, all sales and services are non-refundable.
That’s why it’s super important that you let it all hang out when we meet for your home consultation. Don’t hold anything back since that’s how I’ll get all of the 411 needed to put your room design together. It’s how I get to know you/your style & personality. If a specific item on the shopping list is discontinued or out of stock within 30 days after you receive your e-design I’ll reselect an item at no cost to you.
