Julie is a full-time entrepreneur and Interior Decorator who helps women find peace & joy in their space with her online decorating services because home decor is self care. She loves all things wellness, food, feel good music, and spending time in nature.

She's a proud NYC-born and bred Latina who now lives in northern New Jersey with her husband, 4 kids and her plant babies.

Julie worked in the HR industry for various not for profits for about 15 years, but after feeling unfulfilled, which led to anxiety and depression, she leaned into her creativity and began decorating her own home, which helped her to crawl out of her depression. She realized then, just how much our environment plays into our mental health and in 2000, she took the leap into entrepreneurship so that she can help other women feel joy and bliss in their space.

In her spare time you can find her crossing things off of her long decorating To Do List, which nowadays has been taken over by an ever-growing list of fixing her husband, Robert’s (aka The Home Decor Wrecker) many home decor project fails. When and if there’s ever time left over, she loves to visit home decor stores to see what gems she can discover and share with her community. She also aims to work out three times a week, but sometimes misses the mark, but that’s okay because well, progress over perfection.

You’ll usually find her spending time with her babies (yes, they’re grown, but in her mind, they’re still her babies, this includes Robert and her plants), Netflixin’ or hanging with her sister - probably at crystal shops or brunch.

From social media posts to blog posts, she loves sharing and reviewing products and services that she loves and that align with her brand’s focus of spreading the word that home decor is self care.
