One of the easiest ways to update your room for a new season is by switching out your pillows

With Fall🍂 right around the corner, take this opportunity to play with soft textures that go with Fall like velvet or faux fur.
I mean...soon we’ll be sipping on some hot chocolate and be all curled up on the sofa so let your pillows play into the cozy feeling that you’re trying to create in your room.

Today was amazing!💫 The universe never seems to amaze me! I had opened up this group home decor shopping trip for 10 spots and many reached out saying they wanted to attend, but couldn’t make it bc of bad timing or bc they lived out of state, but @dameluuzz was able to make it and it was perfection!
We hit up @worldmarket @westelm @homedepot and @marshalls where Jane forced me to get three planters 🤣 We then topped the afternoon off with a salmon burger and wine at @nyburger and talked sh*t for hours like we’ve known each other for years. Like I said perfection✨

This experience made me realize that a group shopping trip wouldn’t have worked bc it wouldn’t have allowed me to give so many people my undivided attention and really help them to get unstuck with selecting items for their room - in my mind the group trip made perfect sense, but I would never have figured that out if I didn’t step out of my comfort zone and take action with this idea that had been brewing in me for some time

So whatever it is that you’ve been racking your brain about creating just do it and simply pivot when it doesn’t pan out the way you wanted it to

Because of this realization I can now I see that what might work better next time would be a in person workshop instead

We had an amazing time at the beach today 🏖

I had forgotten how hard it is to keep an eye on three kids at the beach all by myself. I mean my eye balls still hurt from them going all crazy in my sockets 👀 ( LeLe is scared of the ocean water so she’ll only chill at the shore - she swears a shark is coming..., EJ is like me and likes to go deep into the ocean and Landon well let’s just say he hasn’t mastered the art of beating a wave🌊 )

Note to self...never wear this bathing suit again with the kids bc between pulling the top up every second so that I don’t flash the world and trying to keep Landon from drinking the entire ocean....let’s just say Landon won’t be thirsty for a minute 🤣🤷🏽‍♀️. I mean poor thing, I was about to go back to my topless tanning days at South Beach and just say F it, but I changed my mind 🤣 I hope Sereena didn’t read this far down bc she was never supposed to find out about that
